But since things in Tehran aren't the same as before, I have decided to redecorate -- to say the least. From up here, one realizes that being Merciful and Compassionate are indeed Godly traits. For down there, corrupted by worldly possessions, no one seems to be able to possess such qualities.

Just when I was getting excited about starting this site back up, my phone jumped out of my pocket and committed suicide by landing straight in a hole-in-a-ground toilet at a restaurant. Had to rescue it using a plastic bag with my bare hands (in it). It served me well over the past 16+ months. But I am afraid I now have to switch back to my old 1.3 megapixel phone, because unfortunately I can't afford a new one. Rest in peace N82! (This photo was taken after an extensive sanitation process!)
